Testimonials from our producers

From farm to plate

Commitment and support at every moment.

At Rougié, we personally support and assist our 389 producers throughout their professional journey. This starts right from their installation, with financial support and advice to start and develop their activity. Since 2006, a ‘Young Farmers’ (JA) charter has even been established, ensuring tailored support for these new industry players.

Guided by shared values like expertise sharing, we strive to enhance their knowledge through training days on economic, agricultural, and environmental topics. Our producers also benefit from the technical support of our experts to help them improve their agricultural practices, keeping pace with innovations. This ensures stable incomes throughout the year, no matter the uncertainties impacting their activity. Thus, 70% of our producers have been with us for 10 years.

Thanks to this support and a rigorous specification, our producers can guarantee the best living conditions for their animals, therefore high-quality products.

Traceability of our packs

A controlled supply chain.

We have always celebrated the duck. And for us, the best way to continue this gastronomic heritage is to ensure its total transparency, as it is a crucial condition for your clients’ trust.

Thus, since 2010, we manually indicate the names of the producer and selector on our fresh raw foie gras under-paper, ensuring complete traceability. As a chef, this precise information allows you to know the story and authenticity of the product you hold.

This approach is based on a collaboration with producers who share our values of product excellence and respect for traditions, thus ensuring impeccable quality from farm to plate.

The fishermen for Maison Rougié, experienced and responsible, choose to limit themselves to a single fishing area around Dieppe where density is lower and the wild scallops are larger, and this only from October 1st to December 15th to respect natural reproduction cycles.

Rougié expertise for an exceptional sea range

Because we have built a duck supply chain from egg to plate, we are now expanding our expertise by establishing lasting partnerships with sea experts, specialists in responsible fishing.

We thus choose the most suitable fishing areas to obtain the best products while preserving biodiversity.
