  • Burger buns 4 pieces
  • Ketchup 1dl
  • Mayonnaise 1dl
  • Cheddar 200g
  • Lamb’s lettuce 200g
  • Preserved red peppers 250g
  • Malossol pickles 200g
  • Smoked bacon 100g

Preparation

Prepare the ingredients: Gather all the necessary ingredients for assembling the burger.

Prepare the buns: Cut the buns in half and put them in the oven for 5 minutes to make them slightly golden and crispy.

Prepare the sauce: Mix the ketchup and mayo to obtain a smooth and flavorful sauce.

Pan-fry the smoked bacon: Pan-fry the smoked bacon slices until they are crispy.

Sear the shredded cuts: Sear the frozen duck confit shredded cuts directly in a hot pan to brown them.

Assemble the burger:

  • Place the base of the bun
  • Spread a layer of preserved peppers
  • Add pickles and lettuce leaves
  • Add the ketchup/mayo sauce
  • Place a shredded cut and a slice of crispy bacon
  • Repeat the previous step and close with the bun’s top.

Chef's Tip

You can replace the preserved peppers with dried tomato for a more intense flavor and depth.
